I want to play Sims 3 on Mac without CD? - mac sims 3 no cd

I bought the game, but I felt it was too complicated to play in order to banish to CD each time. Before I did what I wouldnt ask for the CD when the game started, but now I've patched 1.8.25 and call for a new CD. I forgot how I was the first time, so I'm wondering how to do it again with the latest patches? Thanks
